Final Call Made for SC 19 Corridor Study

The Edgefield Highway (SC 19) corridor study is winding down, but staff from the Aiken County & City of Aiken Planning Departments and DRMP Consultants is once more seeking public comments to help shape the corridor’s vision and to be included in the final report. The public turned out on April 24 at Bethel Baptist Church to share their ideas, thoughts & concerns and to ask questions about potential improvements developed so far to approximately 11 miles of highway between Hampton Avenue in Aiken and the Edgefield County line. In August, the Consultant anticipates issuing the final report to the County and City.
